Merry Christmas!

When I heard Garth Brooks' rendition of White Christmas while driving down the highway, I suddenly came to the realization that the Christmas season was upon us. That was on December 2, the first of the month and plenty of time to get cards out. But, I got caught up in the day to day and somehow managed to let the month slip by without stopping to send a note to our special friends and family.

Hope you enjoy the photos... but I must admit, I cannot take credit for all of them. The best of them were done by Sean who has decided to do a photo portfolio as part of his senior project. He's a senior and that alone is scarry enough for soon to be empty nesters, we still need to select a school and figure all of the life decisions out. We will have a graduation and then who knows what to look forward to after that! Sean spent the summer working as a lifeguard at the pool again - he likes the kids and it gave him enough time to start training for football. They (some of the team) lifted weights all summer at the pool and went into the season in pretty good shape this year!

Brian transferred to Western Washington this year, we were glad he decided to move back after a year and a half at Univ. of Montana. It's been great having him close by. He started working for a company as a project manager and it has been such good experience for him that he has gone full time and continues at school part-time. Mike spent quite a bit of time this year at the hospital, so it was helpful to have him close by.

I just accepted a permanent position as a Marketing Coordinator for Olympic Health Mgmt here in Bellingham. After working there as a temp through most of Mike's illness, it seemed like the most logical thing to do. It's a good company and I enjoy the people there - I officially make the switch after the first of the year.

Mike is doing much better now and is on the road to recovery. He has had a good run for several months where we haven't had a stay at the hospital! We are all very thankful for that.

Well, we hope you have a wonderful holiday and happy new year!

Love and Best Wishes!
Janet
